Two members of the DMACC women's track & field team, sophomores Ava Manning of Des Moines and Jaycie Vohs of Galva, competed in the women's 3000-meter run at the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Track & Field Championships May 14 to 16 at Hobbs, N.M.
Manning finished 14th with a time of 10 minutes, 22.14 seconds and Vohs crossed the finish line in 22nd place, posting a time of 10:48.24. Juliana Sakat of Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) won the event in 9:32.34.
The meet closed out the 2025-26 season for the DMACC women's track & field team.
